Join us for a magical journey at Pura Vida Retreat & Spa, a unique destination in Costa Rica’s Central Valley.  


This eight-acre gated retreat center is surrounded by coffee draped hills just 20 minutes from Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).


$1,900 Rate includes:

  • 5 Nights (double occupancy) Pura Vida offers nature-friendly rooms with lush garden or epic mountain views. (Single room available for additional $450)


  • Round-trip shuttle service available to/from the SJO


  • Early morning Meditation and Pranayama class


  • Mid-morning Hatha Yoga class


  • The Human Energy System & Vision Board 3-day workshop


  • Evening Sacred Gatherings: Living the Yamans & Niyamas

It does NOT include: Airfare, spa services, excursions and tips.


In addition, you will have access to a world-class Spa with seasoned practitioners, a variety of eco-adventures to cloud forests, hot springs and rivers, and a wine, beer and juice bar offering fresh wheatgrass shots, custom blended chai and smoothies daily for an additional cost.


All classes will be led by Sarah in a PRIVATE GROUP of Maximum 12 Students.

7:00 - 7:30 - Meditation and Pranayama

10:30 - 12:00 - Aligned Hatha Yoga Class led by Sarah OR... 


HALF DAY adventure options: Waterfall gardens & Butterfly Observatory/ Forest Canopy Zip Lining/ or Doka Coffee Plantation (cost: $60 not included)



AFTERNOON

3:30 - 5:30 pm - Inspiring 3- day Workshop:Understanding The Human Energy System & Vision 


 3 days of Learning how to Create a vision board that actual works! to assist in grounding your personal vision and purpose!



Through this Sacred process, you will learn how to shift your energy from within to attract opportunities to manifest your goals and dreams, and finally remove the Energy blocks that are preventing you from manifesting your heart's desire.  


Through the process, you will receive personalized guidance and Holistic Life Coaching so you know exactly what to do to take action after this empowering retreat!


* This workshop will take place on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday so you can participate in all the other adventures if your choose to!




EVENING


6:30 - 8:00 - Dinner


8:00 - 9:30pm - Sacred Gathering: Living the Yamas & Niyamas  - Bring your journal for this interactive and introspective workshop... You will receive personalized guidance and Holistic Life Coaching on how to implement the most Sacred Teachings of Yoga into your daily life based on your current challenges! * This workshop will take place on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.



Plus ALL DAY Adventure Option: On Wednesday you may choose to participate in 1 of 3 day trips: Skywalk/ Hot springs/ or White Water rafting (cost: $120 not included)

Traveling to Costa Rica

Please plan to arrive to San Jose International airport on April 11 and depart April 16. Your retreat begins with a 6:30pm dinner on the 11th, followed by a short opening session, and ends with breakfast on the 16th.  


Check-in time at Pura Vida is 2 pm. Check-out is 11 am.


I will collect your travel plans well in advance and will arrange your airport transfers (included as part of your retreat!). 


Passports
United States and Canadian citizens may enter Costa Rica with a valid passport. Please note that Costa Rican law requires your passport be valid for at least 90 days after the date you enter the country. When in Costa Rica, you’ll need to carry your passport information with you at all times. If you should be stopped by officials, a photocopy with your photo, passport number, and entry stamp will usually suffice and is recommended when making local excursions. Citizens of countries outside the U.S and Canada, should check with the Costa Rican Consulate in your country for more recent requirements and rules governing entrance into Costa Rica.

What to Pack

  • Casual clothing- layers for temps as low as 62 degrees and as high as 90 degrees if planning to adventure out on certain excursions.
  • Sweater, light fleece or light jacket.
  • Swimsuits.
  • Light Rain Gear - poncho, raincoat.
  • Hat(s) with visor - for rain and sun protection.
  • Chargers for all electronic devices.
  • Personal Toiletries.
  • Sunglasses.
  • Prescription medication, in marked bottles.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Insect Repellent (typically not needed but just in case).
  • Binoculars (if desired).


In addition, please bring the following for your Vision Board:


- Paints, markers, color pencils and/or crayons

- Glue and/or tape

- Quotes, affirmations or other words of wisdom

- Embellishments for decorating your vision board, but make sure everything is burnable (no plastic objects)

- Old magazines 

- Newspaper to spread under your working area

- Plus anything else  your imagination comes up with  and so on :)

- I will provide - Large 22" x 28" construction paper board
