Starting a formal Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program is a personal choice of remarkable courage.
The foundation of this Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program is Traditional Hatha Yoga.
This level one (1) Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program is designed to assist with:
Students who choose to add deeper concepts of awakening, transformation, spirit, mind, and body to Yoga, their Yoga personal practice and/or career, as it was meant to be.
Deepening Yoga student’s personal practice.
For people who are considering Yoga as a career practice.
For beginners on a personal Yoga journey.
Advanced Yoga practitioners intending to improve and refresh their personal and career Yoga practice.
Seeking a deeper connection to the spirit of Yoga, and Yoga as an awakening and transformation tool.
Professional Yoga practitioners who want to see and learn with a renewed beginners perspective (beginner's mind).
Students who choose to give personal attention to transforming their own negative attitudes and life style. Plus in each class there are opportunities to become aware of personal negative energy imprints. Plus learning from the teacher and other students experiences is an extra bonus.
And so on and so forth.

A high standard and self-motivated as a Yoga student and teacher to your personal and teaching practice of Yoga.
The program will be approximately twelve(12) months. Students will attend class once per week, plus home study, and teaching independent classes. Any extra time used in class there is no extra charge.
This program is offered in THREE (3) Modules. Each module is 16 Saturdays (total 48 weeks).
MODULE # 1 - Understanding and practice of Yoga poses & proper Alignment PLUS Anatomy, Physiology and Bio-mechanics
MODULE # 2 - Yoga History, Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics PLUS Teaching, Training & Practice of different Yoga Lineages
MODULE # 3 - Teaching Methodology, Practicum & Business Mastery
PLUS the Subtle Energy Body, Pranayama & Meditation
In addition, each student must complete 18 hours of self-study per quarter including: reading, homework assignments and/or Yoga classes as assigned by the Lead teacher.
All students must choose to be self-motivated and committed to their own personal success to complete this Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program.
All students must be committed to do their personal Yoga practice at least once per day.
All students must complete a minimum three hundred (300) word essay on a chosen Yoga related topic. Guidance will be given on suggested topics for this essay.
Each student must have their own Yoga props. For example, Yoga mat, two (2) cork blocks (4X6X9), one Yoga strap, three (3) Yoga blankets. Other optional Yoga props are --- chair, bolsters, foam blocks, eye pillow, and sand bags.
Each student must complete for each and all classes --- home study reading assignments, homework (including personal Yoga practice), and research papers.
This level one (1) Yoga Teacher Training Program gives all students their own chosen personal opportunity to deepen, strengthen, and improve their personal Yoga practice on a spirit, mind, emotional, and physical levels and also give the opportunity to improve confidence in considering creating a Yoga career practice.
To be the most efficient Yoga Teacher and improve spirit, mind, and body/physical, I recommend that after this certification program, each student attend levels 2 and 3 Yoga Teacher Certification Programs offered by Sarah Yoga & Wellness.
During this program all students will receive in class guided Holistic Life Coaching and mentoring that can benefit each student for personal and professional uses. This will be available in class for as long as the in class program last. If students need personal and private Holistic Life Coaching Consultation and Reiki treatments --- these can be available at an extra cost by scheduled appointment(s) and paid for in advance. After the Yoga level one (1) class has ended students can also schedule private Holistic Life Coaching Consultations and Reiki treatments for their continued personal and professional growth.
There will be three (3) books for home study - reading, understanding, writing, reporting, and sharing in class.

Asana (Yoga poses) - Learn many variations of each asana (pose), focus on proper alignment, benefits, and contraindications.
Learn about the different props (support tools), and how they work to support Yoga asanas (poses). More details of the many different variations of Yoga asanas (poses) that will be taught, will be provided in complete program information given to each student after registration and payment.

The Ethics of a Yoga Teacher
Plus all the questions and concerns brought to class will be a learning experience for students.
In addition to the regular class practice each student should write down and bring to class all questions and concerns. These will be attended to by the teacher in each class as time permits.
