Testimonials

"It is always pure joy to practice yoga with Sarah. Her zen energy, precise instruction and soothing voice filled my small apartment with peace, strength and mindfulness"

Debra S.

"I've been practicing yoga for almost 40 years, and have never had a Yogi like Sarah!  Our recent online yoga class which was as if we were in the same room... Her attention to correct form practicing yoga online, was exactly how it is when we're in one of her regular yoga classes."

Cherrie F.

I had one private session with Sarah. She is great, thorough, knowledgeable and very versatile in different styles of yoga. I had a 60-minute session but she went overtime and did it for 80 min. The best part is she does not rush through the practice and make sure your energy flow is complete. She focused on my correct alignment and posture which is the most important thing.

Frequently Asked Questions?

image21

How many times per week should I practice Yoga?

Yoga is amazing—even if you only practice for one hour a week, you will experience the benefits of the practice. If you can do more than that, you will certainly experience more benefits. I suggest starting by attending class two  times a week and establishing a daily home practice of 20 minutes per session.

How is Yoga different from stretching or other kinds of fitness?

Unlike stretching or fitness, Yoga is more than just physical postures. Yoga is unique because we connect the movement of the body and the fluctuations of the mind to the rhythm of our breath. Connecting the mind, body, and breath helps us to direct our attention inward. Through this process of inward attention, we learn to recognize our habitual thought patterns without labeling them, judging them, or trying to change them. We become more aware of our experiences from moment to moment.

I'm not flexible, can I do Yoga?

Yes! Come as you are and you will find that Yoga practice will help you become more flexible.  You will also improve your strength, coordination, cardiovascular health, as you gain a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.

Why are you supposed to refrain from eating 2-3 hours before class?

In Yoga practice we twist from side to side, and bend forward and backward. If you have not fully digested your last meal, this might not be comfortable. You can choose to have a light snack such as yogurt, a few nuts, or juice about 30 minutes to an hour before class.

What do I need to do to begin?

All you really need to begin practicing Yoga is your body, your mind, a bit of curiosity and a Yoga mat! it is also helpful to have a pair of Yoga leggings, or shorts, and a t-shirt that’s not too baggy. No special foot gear is not required because you will be barefoot.

Can I use my Smart Phone for my online sessions?

That depends on your style of learning....  If you are an auditory learner and can easily follow instructions without a visual aid, then Yes!  As long as the teacher can see you clearly, she will be able to guide your through the practice properly.  However, if you are a visual learner, you definitely want a tablet or computer so you can see any demonstrations clearly without too much effort.

How much does it cost?

After your first session, you can choose a package of 12, 24, or 36 sessions.  To see a list of prices for ALL programs, please click here and create an account.

Testimonials

"I had been suffering with back pain for the last five years, with just four sessions, Sarah was able to pin point where all my discomfort was coming from. Her ability to guide me through video conference was truly something special. I am happy to say my back is 90% better.  Forever grateful, she is the real deal.  Thank you Sarah!"

Linda A.

"Sarah was so in tune, very present, professional and compassionate. She provided me with tools which I have been using since I took the online yoga class to help with me with my back. Sarah’s online yoga class is definitely something I recommend full heartedly!"

Angela L.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from an online class. I had taken YouTube classes but this wasn’t anything like that. Sarah’s class was just as good as any in-person private class and significantly more personalized than any regular class. Her cues were on point and the little micro adjustments made each pose much deeper. Sarah has a great energy and confidence and she makes you feel safe and supported. I would highly recommend her as a teacher and I’ve taken many in my 15+ years of practicing.
